hi doc, don't know if it appropriate or not :) knowing that you are specializing in orthopedic, I need advice regarding my husband knee - he has not seen any specialist yet - he had right knee meniscus operation in 1996 after football injury. After that he recovered well and started playing again. He quit playing football seriuosly the last five years and started to take back that sport the last three months. Now the upper part of his knee would become swollen after vigorous physical activity like running or swimming. There is no pain unless if he bent his knee he describe the pain as pressure induced. The swell would 'surut' after he stop doing sport for few days. He promised to see an orthopedic here, but knowing him, I don't know when he would do so :), please give your opinion...
Zaiti- We had just fed the whole clan...and they were strewn all over the house in various sleeping positions...should have taken one from the other angle...
Hafizah- Are you still in Ortho? Yes, Che'Put is the darling of the family....
This Saturday's my last on-call and last day in ortho. Will be joining paeds next. My anatomy of the limbs and spine still sucks though. Gonna miss ortho for sure.
